  • Found a nice 3-star hotel near the walking street. Located at the start of the street and may be missed. Hotel name is at the side road and top of the tall building only Carpark is at level 7 and has to drive into a lift with the staff guiding. Overall good stay with basic room toiletries and hangar. Bed is comfortable.

  • I did not place high expectations, so was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was nice and staff were polite & helpful. Our room was clean & comfortable enough. Shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush toothpaste cotton buds were provided. Towels were thick and warm - that was really nice. Coffee & tea are available. Although it takes a long time for housekeeping to replenish these for me when I found that they missed out during our 2nd day there. There's an overhead fan in addition to air conditioning, which made the room sufficiently cold. My only complain would be the damp/grimey carpet - it really seems like it was not cleaned at all. Luckily they provided slippers. The location is excellent, walking distance to the heritage walk with many food options. Will be fantastic if they can do something about the carpets.

  • I had a great stay at Z Hotel. The location is extremely strategic, with plenty of cafes and eateries just steps away, making it very convenient for meals at any time of the day. It is also within easy walking distance to City Square Mall and the CIQ, which made crossing the border and getting around JB very effortless. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a very relaxing stay after a long day out. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm attitude. Overall, this hotel offers great value with its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and wonderful service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting JB.

  • My second time here. Value for money. Staff as usual never fail in showing a plesant disposition. Nice rooms. Spick and span. There was a technical issue with regards to unlocking the room . I told the front office about it. Probably a glitch which requires your tech department to look into. Other than that an excellent location with well trained staffs

  • This is my second stay with Z hotel. We had a wonderful experience on our 1st visit in Oct 2024 so we decided to book again. This round, I have sign up their membership and book directly via their website with privilege of late check out at 2pm. Staff requested a deposit MYR100 and also an extra of MYR10 for a tourism tax. (I don't rmb having to pay Myr10 when I booked via 3rd party online platform). However, this visit was a disappointment. We drove in early but was not able to check in which is understandable so we just register and told them we will be back late. Came back around 10pm and was a given a room quickly. The room has a very bad sewage smell the moment we step in. Despite the smell since we were so tired we just accepted it. The toilet was flooded with water after a shower, the door hook was broken behind the toilet door and there were mould all over the ceiling. The Pasar Malam noise downstairs could be heard even at 12am! We did not have a good night sleep at all :( Despite the late check out bonus, we just wanted to get out of this horrible room. We also nearly forgotten our cash deposit of MYR100 which can be easily miss. The only thing I think is at its best that remains is the security indoor parking and the front desk ladies are polite and lovely.
