Had a great stay at villa paapa & maama. The host is very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. They accommodated all our requests and went above and beyond to ensure that we have a pleasant stay. I would love to go back ♥️ Thank you for your amazing hospitality!
bad influence
Had the "misfortune" of staying here for 2D1N. Despite the stunning appearance of the rooms and facilities, the place is poorly maintained. One of the rooms experienced a blackout from 9PM until checkout the next day. The guests in that room were a family with one-year-old twin babies, and the only solution offered by management was for them to drag their queen bed from Villa Maama to the living room at Villa Paapa and sleep there — which was unacceptable, considering the amount we paid for a supposedly premium experience. Two pool areas were advertised (one at Paapa, one at Maama), but only the Paapa pool was available. There were also signs of faulty wiring or a power shortage, with outdoor pool lights flickering and power sockets in the living room not working, affecting the fridge and water dispenser. Thankfully, the AC in the living room remained operational. Management tried to blame TNB for the outage, but that’s ridiulous — proper maintenance could have prevented these issues. The power outage also affected the water pump, cutting off water supply in all rooms. One toilet flush wasn’t working, and although their technician came the next morning, he couldn’t fix the water issue. Our overall experience was tainted by these issues and made worse by the management’s poor response and lack of urgency. Please show more consideration for your guests in the future. They did offer a late 1PM checkout (originally 11AM with RM150/hour extension fee), a RM300 refund (about 9% of our payment), and a 20% discount on our next stay — but to be honest, I don’t think I’ll be coming back, let alone recommending this place to anyone. Please do better.

Good location very near KSL. The air BNB hosts reply quite fast which is helpful. They came by and drop off soap and shampoo for us which we appreciate. Ktv is really updated and the aircon is cold (if you want). Downsides: There are quite a lot of mozzies (hence they provide a lot of mosquito coils) and the water pump thing is kinda troublesome. The pool table is really old but I appreciate having it.

Exceptional service, spotless rooms, and a prime location villa paapa&maama checks all the boxes! Special shoutout to staff for their warm hospitality.The rooftop pool and spa were the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
