First time here at Uncle Coffee — and wow, the menu is really extensive! Was impressed with the menu and wanted to try quite a few. Some quick thoughts: • ☕ Iced white kopi – a letdown, sadly. I really had much better ones • 🥪 Ham, egg & cheese sandwich – slightly above average. Kinda dry and taste very mehhh • 🍗 Hainan chicken chop – pretty good! 1 of the better dish for today. • 🍜 Curry Ipoh noodles – nice and flavourful. Overall, it was just above average for us. A meal to settle but not worth any Q or drive to go to. Quite a crowd on a Sunday morning, so be prepared for some waiting.

Great food and a cozy place filled with a lovely coffee aroma. Highly recommend the otak-otak and mee siam — the mee Siam is not dry at all and very smooth and tasty. We also tried fish slice bee hoon, Nasi lemak with fried chicken cutlet & fried chicken drumstick, toast, fried rice with otak, mee siam with otak, and Singapore-style prawn noodles. Every dish was delicious. Will definitely come back! 👍

First visit. Recommended by an aunty the radish cake was delicious, she always coming here to have it. It indeeds so tasty. The sambal was spicy and gave it a kick to the radish cake. The coffee was good too Nice environment, staff were friendly Wanted to try the popular dish mee siam & steam rice cake (zhwee kueh) too bad, both sold out.

Its above average, but wont make you go wow. Portion is big compared to other breakfast joints. Coffee is nice Waiter is attentive

If you're considering a visit to Uncle Five (Sutera) Coffee, temper your expectations — especially when it comes to service and overall dining experience. I stopped by hoping for a simple, satisfying meal, but the visit quickly became a bit of a test of patience. The service was unfortunately sub-par, with staff going back and forth to inform me that several items on the menu were unavailable. After a few rounds of “sorry, sold out” and “not available,” I eventually just settled for whatever they did have. I ended up with the Mee Siam with fried chicken, which turned out to be another disappointment. The fried chicken was dry, lacking the juiciness or seasoning that would make it enjoyable. The mee siam itself was even less impressive — bland, lacking depth or tang, and generally missing the bright flavours the dish is known for. The one redeeming element was the chilli, which actually had a nice kick and helped salvage the otherwise tasteless noodles. As for drinks, I ordered the Milo, which felt like a waste of time — weak, flat, and entirely skippable. If you're dining here, I’d definitely recommend trying another drink instead.
