It was a last minute decision to drop by this restaurant at the suggestion of a friend. Reservation is recommended. We were fortunate to be able to walk in and get a seat for 5. Another party behind us were turned away. Food wise, there are limited options. I was expecting a full range of seafood dishes but it was quite disappointing. There was also only one serving size. We didnt really know the serving portion when we ordered. Fortunately it was enough for us five as we were not particularly hungry. Not sure if they serve free drinking water but I think it is more worth it to order can drinks as we ordered grass jelly and it was just so so. The dessert was basically Sunquick drink with jelly and some longan pieces. Ambience and decor was nice, food tasted ok. The fried fish didn't get enough of the nyonya gravy which was in my opinion a bit drier than expected.

Heard about Sang on SM. Booking was at 8.00pm but we came early. Our Hostess Cik Ida was kind allow us to dine earlier. TQ TQ TQ. Foodies : lovely. Service was fast. 1. Chilly Crabs. 2. Soups 3. Fish 4. Char Kuey Teow 5. Fried rice. 6. Prawns Every dishes taste great. Ida & Team Sang ... tq for your hospitality. We shall come again.

Had a wonderful dining experience at SANG Seafood Halal Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care. The seafood dishes were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and comfortable—great for family gatherings or group meals. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and halal preparation, which gave extra peace of mind. Overall, SANG Seafood is an excellent choice for halal seafood lovers looking for quality food, good service, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

We dined at Sang Seafood Restaurant recently and overall had a pleasant experience, though there were a few areas that could use improvement. We made a reservation a day earlier for a private/VIP room for 9 people. We were also told that the kitchen would start preparing food once one person arrived. However, when we reached at 8pm, the staff seemed a little lost, possibly because their big boss and some VIPs were also there at the same time. They handed us the menu again and seemed to have forgotten our order, so our food only started coming out at around 9.05pm. It would be great if the team could improve communication and the handover between staff, especially during busy hours, to avoid delays and confusion. As we spent 1 hour plus traveling from Pontian. That said, Kak Ida was AMAZING. She handled the situation calmly, helped us throughout the night, and made sure things went as smoothly as possible. Really appreciate her effort. The staffs forgot to hand over gloves and crab claw cracker and that was a mess for a while😅 We were extremely happy with the food & taste. Portions were reasonable, and the quality was genuinely good. The restaurant’s decor and ambiance are lovely, stylish, comfortable, and best of all, NO loud music, so conversations were easy. The only odd part was the serving sequence, after fruits, prawns arrived, then rice, then after quite a wait other mains and the fried rice, and the soups only came halfway through the meal. Also, the eating plates were a bit small for a seafood place 😅. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but since the food was good, we didn’t have much to complain about. Would I come again? Definitely! 👍🏼 But a little improvement in service flow, communication, and serving order would make the experience so much better. 👍🏼 A star less for the service and communications.

We had a wonderful lunch at Sang Seafood! The Yangzhou fried rice was fragrant and tasty, perfect with the dishes. Both the salted egg crab and chilli crab were fresh and flavorful, with rich sauces that made us want to mop up every drop. The pumpkin cheese prawn balls were crispy outside, creamy inside, and really special. The sambal kangkong gave a nice spicy kick to round off the meal. Overall, a very satisfying lunch with generous portions and delicious flavors. Definitely worth coming back for!
