Great friendly service as soon as myself and my girlfriend walked through the entrance. Never have i eber went to a restaurant where I had to fish my own dinner so that was fun. Not usually a fan of spicy food but this place changed my opinion slightly with a fantasticly prepared fish curry from my catch. Fantastic view to boot by the water. Good place to go if you make the trip to jb if you come in from Singapore. Recommend this place to everyone!

Just had an amazing dinner at restaurant Bara Ikan Bakar! 😍 The grilled fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the sambal was 🔥, and the service was top-notch! Highly recommend trying their signature Ikan Bakar and pairing it with a bowl of tomyam seafood. 💕 Great value for money too! The best part you catch the fish freshly and cook for you to eat!! Very recommended!! You should try the ikan special sambal! 🐟👌

Everything is cooked perfectly. The flavors work so well together. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was cheerful. Overall, my experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come again. The best part about this restaurant is that you have to fish your own fish.

This is my second time having dinner here, so I’ll summarize my overall experience from both visits. On my first visit, I tried their grilled dishes and some local sides.. everything was freshly cooked and full of flavor. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt relaxing, perfect for a dinner with family. That’s why I decided to come back again! I ordered the Siakap with special sauce and Udang Masak Lemak on 1st visit, both were really tasty! One unique thing about this place is that you can even fish your own fish if you love eating fresh, live seafood. The prices are quite affordable. Right now, they’re offering Siakap for only RM15 (not sure how long the promo will last). The keropok served at the table was also deliciou.. you can really taste the fish, even more than in regular keropok. Parking is easy too. Overall, both visits were pleasant and satisfying. Definitely worth coming again!

Food is good. Tom yum soup is power 👍🏽 Satay is also very nice! Other dishes salted egg chicken and kang kong was 👌🏽 family friendly restaurant, has western food for kiddos. Can fish your own fish. Seafood is fresh but I didn’t find the ikan bakar mind blowing. Near Senibong Seafood..Worth trying! CUSTOMER SERVICE THE BEST- esp Zaki! 🙏🏽
