Stayed here for a program and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel has a modern and elegant interior, giving a comfortable and professional atmosphere throughout the stay. One nice touch was the complimentary free-flow sparkling water and mineral water available in the minibar, which was very convenient. The coffee machine was also well stocked and easy to use, making it ideal for meetings or early mornings. Meals were provided three times a day, and the overall food experience was satisfying. Lunch offered a wide variety of dishes with many options to choose from. Unfortunately, it was quite busy and I didn’t get the chance to take photos, but the spread was generous and well organised. Based on the package, the price is estimated at around RM120 per pax, which is reasonable considering the quality of facilities, food, and service provided. Overall, a great venue for meetings, retreats, or corporate programs. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Johor Bahru and would like to commend the amazing service from Amy and the entire team. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were welcoming, professional, and very helpful, making our check-in smooth and pleasant. The café staff were equally fantastic — always smiling, attentive, and quick to assist, which made our dining experience very enjoyable. A special shout-out to Nisa and Nadiah at the lounge for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They truly made us feel relaxed and well taken care of. And of course, we must mention John, the prata man — his prata was delicious and always served with such friendliness! He definitely added a special touch to our mornings. Thank you to the whole team at Renaissance JB for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We truly appreciate the great service and look forward to coming back again!

It's truly a 4 star Hotel in Johor Bahru. Everywhere you go, you will be greeted from the beginning when I'm entering the hotel carpark. I had a pleasantly surprise stay in this hotel. It's quiet & well maintained hotel. This is 1 hotel in J.B. that truly gave me the feel of a proper Hotel stay. The rest of the 4 star & above hotel doesn't feel the same as what I had experience here. The bedding is comfy with choice of different pillow hardness for your good nite sleep. Sufficient water pressure for a good shower. Breakfast choice is plentiful. Nearby within 20m, you can find lots of food, convenience Store & family Spa. There's also a well stock fishing Tackle store nearby. Overall. will return to stay. Keep up the Good Work!

Last Friday, my company organized a lunch at Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel (Permas). Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We paid RM180 per pax, but the food quality did not match the price at all. The fried rice was burnt, and when we went for the nasi ayam, only leftover chicken pieces were available. The aloo gobi was also almost finished with very little quantity left. When we went to take fruits, the watermelon was already finished and there was no refill. Many dishes were nearly empty, yet they were still left there as if customers were expected to finish the leftovers. It honestly felt like we paid to eat leftovers. The variety of dishes was also very limited. It was self-service, but there was no staff to clear the plates. Customer service was very poor — no one was assisting or attending to customers at the café. Overall, it was a very poor and disappointing experience, especially considering the amount we paid.

Rooms were great, no tub unless u go for the tier up. Service was great too. Only thing is valet parking in 30rm per day provided u don’t move your car at all. If u move its 100rm per day. Very different from other hotels in JB. Depending on what u want to do location is not the best if u are going to the city centre. Was there on a Sunday and the street market was right outside the main entrance. Very convenient.
