Wide variety of things to buy, wet and dry market. Not a Chinese market, mainly for Malay market, no big fish options. Quite clean and organised but very hot and humid.

Plenty of fresh produce (agriculture, poultry except pork and seafood) to pick from. A small cooked food centre (2 sections of Halal cuisine and 1 section of predominantly Chinese food) on level 3 plus some fast food options (McDonald's, MarryBrown and Subway) are available. Found a smallish nursery perched on one corner of the entrance to Larkin Sentral today. Run by a friendly middle aged Malay couple. Will visit again for accessories and perhaps some air plants to bring home. They have a nice range of plants including herbs. If you are lucky, you will chance upon some cats who reside here.

If you grew up in JB, you must visit Pasar Larkin at least once in your lifetime. The vegetables, fish, and meat here are really fresh. Be sure to come early in the morning to buy your groceries. You can also shop for clothes on the upper floor. At the food court upstairs, there are two sections: halal and non-halal. The food is good, with plenty of options to try. I arrived at around 7 a.m., and some stalls were already serving lauk for lunch.

This is a local bazzar (shopping center) for locals. Not everyone will speak English and most prefer payment in Ringit. However the prices will be the lower and one can find many of the services you might need alterations on clothing, a cobbler for shoes and other small services, products and food staples. TIP... If using Grab be aware the driver may not pick you up in the same place as you get dropped off and may find yourself running to the right pickup location, so know what street entrance you will be picked up at.

From fresh vegetables 🌶 🌽 🍅 to frozen food, everything is under one roof. Price is cheap & worth buying. Ramadhan is approaching. Every year there will be a temporary stall selling festive cookies, clothes, dates etc. Spoilt for choice.
