A very nice supermarket in Plaza Pelangi. It has a wide variety of products and it is well stocked. The aisles are wide and the air-conditioning is good. So all in all, a very good shopping ambience here.

Had one of the worst experiences at Mercato Café and Bakery today. They had four staff members behind the counter, but only one auntie was actually doing all the work. Customers had to wait unnecessarily long for every single thing. The newly refurbished place looks nice, but they seriously need proper management to ensure better efficiency and service.

I wont talk about the supermarket but i will relate to tired shoppers needing a place to rest, have a cuppa and chat with their shopping mates. This mercato outlet houses a very affordable "rotisserie" - simple but fresh sandwiches, pastries and buns AND packs a strong cup of coffee/tea (hot/cold). Run entirely by a very energetic, service-oriented young man who speaks little, you give your orders to him and he promptly prepares it in front of you - in a very organized, professional manner. I enjoy having my strong, bitter cuppa here while waiting for friends and relatives after shopping. The place is quiet enough and offers value-for-money snacks if you want to avoid going to the usual SDS, Coffee Bean, Subway or Nando and McDonald outlets here - which of course is found in this area. Edit 23rd October 2025 WOW! You have GOT to come here to experience the great NEW vibes of their cafe and bakery after extensive renovations. It is THE new place to hang out. Spacious abode, clean, neat, airconditioned environment and affordable food for everyone. Their economy rice servings have somehow attracted a lot of elderly patrons and workers in the mall. Manned by a very friendly, hardworking Auntie, i give her all my two thumbs for her excellent customer service! 👍👍

so mad at the cashier guy. the scan has shown a different price displayed. and he went to check and came back said “the barcode is different” it was like blaming my side. and i went for double check , the barcode are the same. i came back to the cashier guy back and he simply responded “harga dah naik lah tu”
