  • Nice local food street with reasonable prices and good variety. Bbq - stingray, lady finger, cockles 51rm. Decent food and flavours. stingray itself was really spicy and quite pricey at 28rm Satay - we got 3 sticks just to try and stall owners kindly oblinged to our request. the satay were well grilled. sauce they use is slightly different. overall not bad. Ngoh hiang - century egg is fresh. but no sweet sauce.

  • Visited JJ many times, but first time having breakfast here. Highly recommend the roti prata. The prata is light n not oily. slightly crispy on the outside n soft inside. The dahl is outstanding. Thick, tasty n full of ingredients. They offer fish curry too, which is not salty. I dare say it's the best prata in JB so far. ( another favourite is at 6 Stars Food Court ) There is also homecook nasi lemak kosong with sweet sambal n egg. It's good .. sayang they dont have kacang & ikan billis. 5 kosong, 1 telur bawang n 2 NSLM cost RM 22. Very friendly, English speaking Indian couple n daughter. They are closed every other Tues. Coffee is good too. Definitely looking forward to my next meal here.

  • Returned after my previous visit for dinner this time on a Saturday evening. Tables we’re still easily available at 7:30pm. Tried Char Kway Teow and Satay stalls on the street near the coffeeshop. 10 RM for a large plate and chicken satay at 1.20 RM per stick. I would not recommend the Char Kway Teow or Satay. Next I tried the Oyster Omelette by a local lady and the Ice Dessert stalls within the coffee shop. I would not recommend the Oyster Omelette. Ice Kacang was popular and worth a try. Chicken rice within the coffeeshop can be given a miss. On my first visit, I came for Breakfast. Didn’t try the popular roti canai. Tried breakfast Char Kway Teow cooked by a young local lady. Not the best I had in JB. I would not travel here just for breakfast. Other less popular stalls manned by locals were the Kolo Mee, Wan Tan Mee.
