Cleanliness: The rooms were clean, although there were some stains on the curtains but nothing too obvious. There was a slight issue with the drainage in the toilet, and the water was not able to drain properly during a shower. The rooms were spacious though! Do take note that the toilet glass is see through, but there are blinds. However, I was quite disappointed to be given a room on the smoking floor. Do remember to request from the staff if you would like a non-smoking floor. Location: Location is superb, walking distance to KSL Mall. The hotel is facing a rather new hotel called Novotel. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance, and in fact, it is connected to K Fry Restaurant via the hotel lift. Though you need the staff’s access card to enter via the hotel. K Fry does not have it’s own lift btw. Parking: Plenty of parking available and valet was also an option, about RM30+ (I had forgotten the actual price) Breakfast: Breakfast had a good variety although the queue was really long. I went down at 9:30am. The breakfast was until 10:30am. My fault, should have came down earlier. There are many seats though and the restaurant is rather spacious Price Paid: About RM300 per room per night (Twin Room, with breakfast) All in all, a great stay.

Stayed at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru for a short visit. The room itself was acceptable and reasonably comfortable, though the carpet felt rather worn and could benefit from a deeper clean. The view from the room was pleasant and a definite highlight. Breakfast was very crowded during peak hours; however, the team did a commendable job replenishing the buffet swiftly. That said, the overall taste and selection were fairly average. It would be much appreciated if brewed coffee from a proper coffee machine were available instead of coffee from an urn. The hotel’s location is excellent and highly convenient, which remains its strongest advantage. Special mention to Khan and Sazzad for their excellent hospitality at the Reception.

First time staying here. Finding the entrance and parking was a bit confusing at first, but once that was sorted everything else was good. The location is fantastic with lots of shops and KSL City Mall nearby. The rooms are big, clean, and very comfortable. All basic amenities are provided. Would happily come back again.

This hotel should be rated as 5 star cause it is deserving based on my repeated visits experience. I am a regular guest at Holiday Villa. Throughout all my stay here, the staffs have rendered their excellent service to accomodate me and my wife needs. Kudos and thumbs up 👍 to the front desk staffs like Khan, Kalai, Natasha, Iqbal, Farish, Halimatun and Jagdeep (hope i get their names correctly). In addition to the above staffs, the service staff during breakfast especially Bella, the captains and crews were also providing excellent services to not only me but to other guests. The room cleanliness are well maintained by housekeeping making it a beautiful, comfort and pleasant stay. Totally impressed with the newly reno Executive deluxe room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who seek comfort stay and excellent services with easy accessibilty to many shopping and eatery venues like KSL for example. Keep up the good work. Great stay with competitive and affordable price. I think its my 5th stay and I would recommend it. Valet service parking at $35rm per day. Convenient to nearby shops especially KSL. 👍
