The location is quiet and out of the way. About 30 mins drive to or from JB city center. Hotel is from same chain as Capri. If compared to Capri at JB, it is evident that the attention to finer details is below that of Capri. Seems a bit more luxurious than Capri JB but not as well maintained or managed. Breakfast spread is big, buy food feels "normal" and don't give that "wow" or "satisfying" vibe. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights here just to experience the place. For the same price range, there are many other options that give better value for the $$$.

Value for money. Clean and spacious rooms. Top notch service. And close to your essential amenities. Check in is fuss free, only took 1 minute. Came as a family with a baby and they were more than willing to offer baby cot in the room, umbrella when it was drizzling and more water when we needed. However, one thing we were disturbed by at night was the constant gear shifting sounds in the ceiling. It could be due to the lift system or aircon system, but it kept us up at night. Would love to come back to stay here again.

I stayed 2 days ago and had a great experience at Fraser’s Place Hotel, especially at the restaurant. Even though there was a long queue, it was managed very well. Ms. Zulaikha, the Restaurant Manager, handled guest complaints professionally and calmly. You could clearly see her and her partner working efficiently to manage the tables. The table turnover was smooth and not too slow, which made the waiting time feel reasonable. The rooms were also beautiful, clean and comfortable. As for the food, it was just okay . decent, but there’s still room for improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great service from the team, kudos to the management of the hotel!

Decided to try out this place because I have errands to run nearby and my previous experience with Capri by Fraser was positive so I thought, this cant be too bad right? Generally, the staff has been helpful and courteous but there's just so much being nice can do before the hardware gets in the way. Objectively speaking, points need to be deducted for the following: 1. Lobby has a strong stench. Not sure what's the source but this smell does not belong in a hotel. 2. At 1am, I can still hear cars zooming on the road despite paying for a sea-facing room. Some people considers this white noise? Hopefully it doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night. 3. Ventilation in the room was poor. For a whole stretch of ventilator, one could only feel the weakest airflow from 1/3 of the whole system when standing on a chair and placing hand right in front of it. I tested and my Jisulife on speed 1 was stronger ... The maintencance guy cranked it up to max but it's obvious that the aircon is long due for cleaning. It took an hour for the room to feel significantly colder. Airflow though could be improved. The same thing happened at Capri when the crew cleaned the unit and the room's airflow was instantly evident. The aircon control panel also doesnt seem to work except to turn on and off the aircon because all fan speed levels and all temperature settings ultimately gets you 21°C still with no air movement.

I had a fantastic stay at Fraser Place Puteri Harbour! The room was cozy and incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect staycation. I especially loved the full amenities in the clean bathroom, and the bathtub was a highlight to my girl — she was so delighted! The bed faced the balcony, offering an amazing sea view that made waking up so enjoyable. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a good spread of delicious options, catering to different tastes. A special thank you to the hotel manager, Abdul Shukri. When our car couldn’t start, he responded immediately and went out of his way to assist us, even helping to kickstart the car. His prompt and genuine care truly made a difference in our experience. Abdul Shukri’s professionalism and kindness are highly commendable — he’s a true asset to the hotel. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service. Highly recommended!
