Love the vibes at Commune by Creators, Adda Height ☕🌿 The ambience is cozy and calm, perfect for relaxing or working. Coffee and food are consistently good, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. From main dishes like spaghetti, risotto, and quesadilla to snacks such as mentaiko fries and desserts, everything is thoughtfully prepared, high quality, unique, and truly delicious. Drinks like Matcha Yuzu and Communitea are also very special, refreshing. Worth trying. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area 👍✨

Happened to find this place on google maps and give this place a try. Nice decor, quiet, and also great food. Lovely Lemon Chicken Quesadilla (decided to try this as any people raved about this) and it is really refreshing! Good for 2 person to share. Cold brew latte serving portion is larger than expected too.

I was so impressed on my first visit a few weeks ago – everything from the food to the drinks was outstanding, so I returned excitedly with friends. Sadly, the second experience was a real disappointment. The matcha latte was undrinkably bitter and grainy, as if way too much powder had been used and it wasn’t properly whisked. When we politely told the waitress it was far too strong and asked for a little milk to dilute it, we were charged an extra RM3 for it. The dishes we’d loved on the first visit tasted under-seasoned this time but it was still acceptable and good(my favourite being seafood risotto), however the new items we tried were just average. For a place that isn’t inexpensive, this level of inconsistency (and the surprise RM3 milk charge) felt particularly off-putting. I know the team can do so much better because that first visit was genuinely excellent. Service was friendly as always, but I’ll probably wait quite a while before giving it a third chance. Hope quality becomes more reliable soon!

❤️ Food sharing IG @ jkgourmets 😋 美食分享尽在 IG @ jkgourmets Found this beautiful café near my car tinted film shop. It was a spacious, cossy, very well decorated café. With the white paint the whole Café from top to bottom. And the simple furniture, clean simple design tables and chairs. It feel very relax even without a bright windows. I just try their coffee without foods. Ordered and ice cappuccino, it was quite pricy but the quality of the coffee was amazing, very well blend of bean and balanced bitterness and sourneas. Simple a enjoyable cup of coffee. Will definitely drop by again when passing by this area.

Came to this cafe due to the glowing reviews (4.7/5 stars!) but was quite severely disappointed with the food. First thing we noticed was that the cafe was totally empty at 9am on a Saturday morning which we felt was weird for a cafe with such high reviews. But we thought it was simply just too early. Food was honestly bad. I am a foodie and I take my food seriously and I hate to waste my calories on food that is subpar. For the bagel, there was a $18 RM top up for smoked salmon. The bagel came and it was 2 tiny pieces of salmon with 4 pieces of yellowing salad leaves (pls see photo). I was shocked because even in Singapore when you pay $5-$8 SGD top up for smoked salmon, you get way more than 2 pathetic pieces of smoked salmon. Taste of bagel was really mediocre (slightly tough to chew but acceptable for $9 RM). We got the tiger prawn pasta at $42 RM and it looked promising in photos and presentation but the moment we started mixing the pasta, you can clearly see the pasta and sauce does not blend together (see photo). This means the sauce was just scooped onto the pasta and both noodles and sauce didn’t go through a final round of cooking together to reduce the watery sauce and to ensure the sauce flavors are seeped into the pasta which I think is not too much to ask for a dish that is $42 RM. Taste for pasta was bad. The assam/sambal flavored sauce was weird with the pasta and despite what the menu claimed, there was no prawn taste in the sauce at all. Coffee was good but I think in Malaysia it’s not difficult to find good coffee places. Throughout the whole hour that we dined there, there was only one other customer and he only ordered a cup of coffee. Seems like 懂得都懂 that only thing worth ordering is the coffee. There were way more service staff than there were customers as seen in the photos and all the staff just stood around and used their phone as there were no customers. Total bill was close to 120 RM but satisfaction was 1.2/10. In conclusion, I think the cafe owner can look into reducing the variety of food on the menu and to instead put in the saved money to increase the quality and quantity of just a selected few food items on the menu. I’ve been to other cafes in JB like D’cafe (which has very good food AND coffee btw) and they only have a one page menu. But all the food items were delicious (I’ve went back so many times to try their whole menu) and the place is full even at 9-10am on a Saturday. Back to this cafe, you should just see what is the most ordered in the cafe and just focus on those dishes will do. Having 4-5 different flavours of baked wings & 4 types of French fries is not going to help save the business if all the food items are of subpar taste and quality.
