If you're looking for a truly satisfying and authentic seafood experience in Johor Bahru, look no further than Chang Man Seafood. From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. The first thing that catches your eye is the array of live seafood tanks. It’s always a great sign when you can see your dinner swimming around before it hits the wok! Even better, they have transparent pricing clearly displayed, so you can choose your seafood without any fear of nasty surprises on the bill. And the result of such fresh ingredients? Absolutely delicious food! The White Pepper Crab was nothing short of exceptional! The pepper flavour was aromatic and punchy without being overwhelming, allowing the natural sweetness of the incredibly fresh crab to shine through. The Steamed Sotong with Chilli was cooked perfectly – tender, bouncy, and not the least bit rubbery. The savoury chilli sauce was the perfect complement, making this a dish that disappeared in minutes. The Fried Mantous were light and fluffy on the inside, with a slightly crisp exterior. They were the perfect vehicle for mopping up every last drop of the incredible crab sauce—a match made in heaven! The Yangzhou Fried Rice was packed with that coveted wok hei that gives it a delicious, smoky depth of flavour. Overall, our experience was fantastic. The seafood was supremely fresh, every seafood dish was yummy, and perhaps the best part is that the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get.

Good seafood and big portions. Only pity scallops kinda fishy and prawns were slightly overcooked. 2 crabs for 168RM about 450g each. We love the 一品锅 as the sauce is very good like abalone sauce. Paid 425RM for this table of dishes. Convenient location opposite KSL.

Very close to KSL apartment entrance. We randomly walked in as it wasn't crowded on sat evening. Surprisingly the dishes are all quite tasty. Didn't order any expensive seafood. The oyster omelette is good. The kampong chicken was juicy n flavourful. The yam pork rib which was only available on weekend was good too. But I love the poached baby octopus the most as the octopus was packed with it's own flavour and the dipping sauce made it even more shiok! The man serving us was helpful, friendly yet not pushy when he recommended the dishes. He even let us know that what we had ordered were enough. Overall very satisfied and loved that it wasn't crowded and chaotic as the rest of KSL areas in weekend. Recommended.

Ordered quite a bit while we were here. The food was quite ok. Lala soup wasn’t very nice. Butter squid and cereal prawns were ok. Sambal fried rice & kangkong was a tad too oily. The hot and sour soup was nice. Overall environment of the place was quite ok. We went on a weekday evening and there were parking lots, so it was alright. There aren’t many lots, so parking could be a bit of a problem if it’s crowded. The restaurant is really big, and most ppl in JB drive.

No regrets dining here as our first stop! Everything was good! We had the curry fish head, creamy butter sotong, tofu with seafood, fried rice and fried bee hoon. Next time shall try the crab!
