Great customer service and everyone seems so polite. Thank you Lovelle for assisting and being so kind for letting me take my time and choose the handbag that I need. She even reminded me that the bag needs to be store in an airy environment so that the leather can last long and to avoid storing it in a plastic case at all cost.

Extremely Disappointing Quality and Service from Bonia. I made a handbag purchase from Bonia (Johor Premium Outlet) on 10 December 2023 as my wedding gift, planning to use it only after my wedding on 24 August 2024. I had informed the staff at the time of purchase that the handbag would not be used immediately, but I was never advised about the proper care or storage for a leather handbag, despite making it clear I wouldn’t be using it for several months. I came from Kuala Lumpur and that is why I purchased it early since I happened to be there at that time. When I unpacked the bag a week before my wedding, I was shocked to find cracks on the leather. After just one week of usage, the condition worsened even further, and the handbag became to tear apart. The quality is extremely poor, and it feels like something I could have purchased for RM20, not a handbag that cost nearly RM1000. When I returned to the store on 15 September 2024 to address this issue, the staff member who sold me the bag was rude and unhelpful. She told me with a smirk on her face that the leather handbag should not be stored for long periods and must be used regularly. After that, she gave me side eyes and walked away, leaving another staff member to handle my issue. I was never told this at the time of purchase, and her attitude was both disrespectful and disappointing. As a customer, I expect to be informed about proper care of the item that I purchase, especially for a premium product, but I was left with no information at all. I need to leave the handbag at the store for further processing, but as of today, I have not received any updates or follow-up. For a brand like Bonia, which I believed stood for quality and class, this entire experience has been a major disappointment. I expect much more from a brand that charges such a premium for its products. If this matter is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to consider other options.

If you’re visiting JPO, make sure to stop by and see Ain! She’s an absolute gem who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, Ain was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the products. She patiently answered all my questions and even gave helpful recommendations tailored to my preferences. The store itself is well-organized and offers an excellent shopping experience, but Ain truly made my visit memorable. Her professionalism and genuine friendliness are rare to find these days. Highly recommend asking for Ain if you’re at JPO—you won’t be disappointed!
