I stayed at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is convenient, especially if you are traveling between Singapore and Johor, and the sea views are quite nice. The lobby looks decent and the staff were generally polite and helpful. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated and could use better maintenance, as some facilities did not feel very well kept. The cleanliness was acceptable but not exceptional. Overall, it was an average stay that was fine for a short trip, but there is definitely room for improvement.

will stay here everytime i came to JB.. receptionist is very polite and friendly.. maintenance and housekeeping staff are approachable even at midnight.. room is clean and well maintained, but the whole hotel is a bit aged.. besides, do expect some noise at night time as there are few pub and club nearby..

The hotel is quite decent. Not as bad as i thought it’d be after i read the google reviews. For me, the hotel staffs made a whole lot experience better as they were friendly and attentive. Only the room & the toilet needs more fixing especially the shower. Anyways, if you are afraid there would be noise from the clubs, you can ask the receptionist to check if they can place you to the floor/quite room for privacy. Nothing much to expect as it’s an old hotel, the surrounding and the vibes might give you chills, but it’s just a feeling. There are lights and soft hotel music playing. The breakfast was okay-okay for me. 3 star from me is fair

Really appreciate the wonderful service by the team. Really made our Valentine's Day extra cheers & colourful. Really tasty food, amazing decorations at room & also Dinner table. Kind, helpful and humble staffs.

This is an old hotel, and it does show its age. The guest lifts were one of the main drawbacks—they take a very long time to travel between floors, which can be quite inconvenient, especially during peak hours. I requested a late check-out at 1:30 pm. While I don’t mind paying for late check-out, the receptionist did not inform me in advance that there would be additional charges. It would be better if the charges were clearly mentioned upfront, as this helps guests decide whether they want to opt for late check-out or not. I opted for breakfast, but the food was average and nothing special. On the positive side, the location is good. It’s near the Stulang (Tulang) Jetty and the Stulang Seafood Restaurant, which is very convenient. Guests looking for pubs or clubs may also like this hotel, as there are several clubs and pubs within the hotel compound itself. Overall, the hotel price is reasonable and decent considering the service level and the condition of the hotel. Suitable if location and nightlife access are your priorities, but expectations should be kept moderate.
