I’ve had BANTIANYAO once in Singapore before and found it just alright, and this visit felt pretty similar. Maybe it’s because I’m not really a fish person, so grilled fish doesn’t excite me that much. Overall, I think it’s not too bad, especially considering they offer free flow rice, drinks, and ice cream, which makes the meal feel more value for money. The skewers were a little disappointing, though. I wish they had added more cumin powder to give it that stronger, more aromatic flavour. That said, I would still visit again, especially if I’m dining with friends who enjoy grilled fish.

Have been here for a few times. Grill fish comes with different flavors. Everytime I came here, always very quiet and not many people. Strangely always only a few people. Price is reasonable and food are good. A good place for grill fish. That is why I have been returning.

Had a great experience at Ban Tian Yao Grilled Fish. The staff were very friendly and the food was served promptly. The environment was relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a casual meal. We tried the 青花椒 and 酸菜鱼 — both were incredibly flavourful and well-balanced. The standout sides were definitely the grilled chicken and sausage, highly recommended. Overall, a solid spot for tasty, satisfying grilled fish dishes. Will be back!

Trying out Ban Tian Yao for the first time. Service here is very good as the staffs are very attentive! Pricing and taste of the food is great too. Paid RM/2 per pax for free flow rice and drinks! Will come back again!

Pretty excited to see this restaurant open at Zenith Center, as we had tried this restaurant in Xi An In year 2024, the taste was superb and the rice is very fragrance. The fish portion is big, chicken and beef skewer was ok. A bit disappointed as the taste is not as delicious as the one we had in Xi An. But the overall dining experience is good.
